Q: What does API limit mean?

A: This is the amount of communication the application can have with twitter per hour. If you’re using the application a lot it uses up more API but don’t worry, it resets every hour and it’s unlikely you’d ever exceed it.  However, with this issue, Twitter is not refreshing it on certain accounts so you are seeing "no results" when using any application (other than just going to twitter.com).   It's a high priority issue they claim they are working to fix.

During this time your "search panes' will likely work and you can still Tweet out. This accesses the API and Twitter in a different way. Please feel free to voice your concern with Twitter on the priority of this matter! api@twitter.com

If you find yourself using too much API (you can see the requests you have at the top of MarketMeTweet, you may want to make panes refresh less often. Every refresh is an API request and you only get 350 per hour.
